TOTTENHAM LEADING THE RACE FOR QPR SENSATION

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be the favourites to land Queens Park Rangers star Ebere Eze once the summer transfer window opens, as per reports. The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the Championship's standout performers, racking up 12 goals and eight assists for an otherwise unspectacular QPR side to keep them around the middle of the table.

Obviously, his status as a young, talented Englishman has sent the rumour mill into a frenzy. Plenty of sides have been tipped to push for Eze, but The Sun state that it is Spurs who are leading the race for his signature.
The Lilywhites have endured a poor season by their own standard. Injuries to top striker Harry Kane, have not also aided their course this season. According to Mourinho, Spurs had no ladder to climb the table, and as soon as they got the ladder, they started to move up the table.

Another big injury to Son has rendered the club with no ladder to move up the table. They will do all they can to add the player during the summer to close the gap between them and the top of the table.
Along Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United have also indicated an interest in the England U21 star.

Eze didn't enjoy the best of start to the season but since he got his goal against Wigan Athletic. A match QPR won 3-1, the youngster has not looked back. He has grown in confidence. The 21-year-old will only have a year left on his contract at the end of the season. So QPR will have a decision to make on the player at the end of the season. They will have to listen to offers for the player in the summer or they might lose him for free at the end of next season.
